Best new hangout! Really lovely terrace for summer, the whole space is stunning and fresh with the most delicious food. Love the event space with enclosed garden too! Would love to book it sometime soon. Sabel Food are genius, I am sure they will continue to make this space amazing. Stokey is lucky to have them!

[Edit - I knocked the star ranking down as it's clear the owners didn't read the full extent of my review. The staff deserve five stars, however the owners uncomfortable behaviour make this establishment a one star experience]. I wanted to reach out to say how much I’ve enjoyed the cafe since it opened in the summer. It’s such a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. I am also disheartened by the ways that the owners speak to and treat the staff who work at the cafe. I am always so impressed by the team’s ability to remember my order, name and ask relevant questions about my life. However, when I overhear either of the owners speaking to the staff it’s often in a tone of disrespect and makes me shocked that they would speak so aggressively to their own team members. I’m sharing this here in the hope that the owners will see this, and reflect on the attitude they bring into the space. When they walk in, I can visibly see the staff stiffen and prepare for a lecture. It changes the energy of the whole cafe.

Ate here twice. Menu is concise but food good. Inside lots of people take up tables for two with laptops, seems a waste, maybe move them to the high stools? Good outside seating. Food quality good. Regular table tidying and wiping would give you 5 stars.

A delightful little cafe along with delightful and very helpful staff. A nice place to sit with a book and have a cup of tea . My lack of 5 stars is simply because of the card only payments. Due to a very limited income I manage my money daily with cash as it is a lot easier and I don't pay by card ( a lot of us older folk have to do that). But as I had no choice just the once.

Really like this cafe in terms of ambience, food and drink and friendly sta. I just have a couple of small suggestions that would take the service up a notch - it would be great if the sta more frequently cleared the tables and also wiped them instead of just removing plates and cups. And also gave you teaspoons/saucer or somewhere to remove your teabag when they bring your tea so you don't then have to get up anyway! Otherwise great addition to the area

Great coffee and a warm atmosphere! Big thanks to Roxanne for the cappuccino she made — your kindness made my day.

Amazing coffee in this lovely new addition to Stokey. The atmosphere is relaxed, service with a smile and plenty seating inside & out. Didn’t get food but will be returning for the trout dish which looked quality!
